The December meeting of the Blue Ridge Chapter of the Virginia Society of Enrolled Agents was held at Famous Anthony's in Roanoke, Va. The meeting was called to order at 12:15 p.m. by David Tanner. A motion was made, seconded and passed to approve October's meeting minutes. Business: The educational portion of the meeting began at 12:26 p.m. Mary Adkins began her presentation on “The New Postcard 1040”: IRS Program Number QSRNU-T-00364-18-I. The educational portion concluded at 1:30 p.m. One hour of Continuing Education was awarded to all participants that signed in, remained for the entire session and listed their PTINs. The next meeting will be January 16, 2019 at Famous Anthony Orange Ave., Roanoke VA. Note: This was subsequently changed to Famous Anthony — Williamson Road. The January meeting of the Blue Ridge Chapter of the Virginia Society of Enrolled Agents was held on January 16 at Famous Anthony's on Williamson Road in Roanoke. The meeting was called to order at 12:05 by David Tanner, President. Dues were collected and visitors were recognized and everyone shared a little about themselves for our new people. The program on Section 199A and Rental property was presented by Knox Wimberly and lasted over one (1) hour. One hour of Continuing Education was awarded to all participants that signed in, remained for the entire session and listed their PTINs. The meeting concluded about 2:00.
