Chapter Meeting CE Credit Policy

For VASEA Members:
Receiving CE credit for attending VASEA chapter meetings is a benefit of VASEA membership. All active members and associates in good standing are eligible to receive IRS CE credit through the VASEA office for chapter meetings at no charge.

For Non-Members:
Non-members may receive IRS CE credit for chapter meetings through the VASEA office at a rate of $15 per chapter education event. In order for non-members to receive CE credit for attending a chapter meeting, they must:
  1. Comply with the chapter's attendance and sign-in requirements for chapter meetings, including providing their PTIN.
  2. Purchase a chapter meeting CE token from the VASEA website at the rate of $15 per chapter education event no later than 2 days following the meeting.
VASEA will upload IRS CE credit information for all paid non-member chapter meeting attendees at the same time the credit is uploaded for the VASEA member attendees. Chapters do not have to solicit for payment but should notify non-member attendees that they will not receive CE credit unless a token is purchased through the VASEA office.

Annual CE Token Pass Option for Non-Members:
Non-members may pay $100 for a VASEA Annual CE Token Pass, which entitles the individual to unlimited chapter CE for the year without buying individual tokens.

Chapters are encouraged to include the Chapter Meeting CE Credit Policy for Non-Members in their meeting announcements.

Your CE Token(s) can be purchased by going to VASEA's web site, clicking on "Member Login" (upper right corner), then select "Chapter CE Tokens" from the menu on the left, click on the blue box for Chapter CE Token, fill in the Chapter Name and Meeting date, then click on "+ Add To Cart" then click on "Check Out".

If you are a visitor and don't have a login, use the "New Visitor Registration" to create an account. You may want to do this first.

Your payment must be received by the second day after the meeting – no exceptions.

Questions: Please call (804) 723-5888.
CE Certificates: CE certificates are for your records only. IRS CE credit is only provided for VASEA members who attend the program and non-members who attend the program and pay the non-member chapter meeting CE fee of $15 per chapter education event. Please contact the VASEA office at (804) 723-5888 if you have any questions.
